The ten establishments we've selected range from lively sports bars to enchanting pubs. There is however one thing they all have in common. That is they are all great places to go even if it's not baseball season.

With 16 microbrews on tap, the Boston Beer Works has been serving Red Sox fans for more than a dozen years. In the offseason, getting a table is much easier. We recommend the Blueberry Ale.
Game On

Game On calls itself a restaurant but with its 90 HD televisions it's actually every sports fan's fantasy. Residing in the umbra of the Green Monster, Cask 'n Flagon opened in 1969 as a bar called Oliver's. It's now a Boston fixture and a Mecca for diehard BoSox fans. The walls are decked with historic photographs of the home team and the staff prides itself on its attentive customer service. Also, the Cask 'n Flagon has more televisions than a big box electronic store.

Formerly a piano bar named Jake Ivory's, The Lansdowne is now a roomy Irish pub with wood paneling, pints of beer, and mouth-watering dishes like shepherd's pie and Irish stew. Open every night until 2am, the Lansdowne is a destination for baseball fans both before and after the game.
Jerry Remy's
1265 Boylston Street

Jerry Remy's gets its name from the famous Red Sox second baseman and broadcaster. This sports bar has an amazing draught list, scrumptious eats, and two $250,000, 11-foot tall television screens. Needless to say this is not only the place to go before the game, it's also the place to go to watch team when they're out of town.
Lower Depths
476 Commonwealth Avenue
617-266-6662
Distance from Fenway Park: 0.3 miles
Lower Depths is an edgier and more relaxed alternative to some of Kenmore/Fenway's high energy sports bar. This charming pub has 16 beers on tap and inexpensive bar food (hardly anything exceeds $10). Named after a Maxim Gorky play, this basement bar has a captivating mural of shady characters hanging on its walls. Enjoy trying to name them all.

Church is nightclub that's a little different than all the other destinations on our list. In addition to all that, Church is also a 225-capacity music venue that hosts renowned local and national artists.
