There are several quality STD clinics Boston residents can use. Of course, if you think you’ve contacted an STD, or you’re starting a new relationship, you should see your doctor right away. If that’s not an option, and as previously mentioned, there are quite a few reputable and trustworthy STD clinics in the Boston, MA area—many of these clinics test for free or charge a minimal fee.
The easiest way to find a STD clinic is to call your local health department; they run most of the free clinics. If there isn’t a free clinic in your area, try contacting either HIVTest.org or Planned Parenthood. HIVtest.org allows you to search by zip code for a clinic in Boston or anywhere else in the state of Massachusetts. Not all of their clinics are free nor do they all test for other STDs, but it’s a place to start. Planned Parenthood doesn’t offer free testing but they are inexpensive. You can also run an internet search using the phrases “STD clinic” and “Boston, MA.”
Remember, anyone who has sex is at risk of contracting a sexual transmitted disease and having more than one partner increases your risk of infection. If those conditions apply to you, make an appointment with one of the many Boston STD clinics as soon as possible.
